Having previously worked with the Bilbao City Council in several mobile campaigns, the department of Economy and Finance asked us to collaborate in the renovation of their Citizen Attention area. In this project we really got to stretch our wings, working on the interior design of the space, as well as installing interactive kiosks and a Digital Signage channel for the City Council.
Citizens who enter the building can find a 32” touch screen seamlessly integrated into one of the main columns of the space, all clad in stainless steel. Joining the two columns there is a stainless steel table with PCs that allow for online access to many of the forms normally filled out by hand, allowing to streamline administrative procedures. The City Hall wanted to be able to communicate what was being done with tax payers’ money, so we installed an 84” plasma wall with a backend content management system that the client uses to update the graphic and text information seen on the screen. The whole project design, development and project management was handled by ivista, and the results were notable right from the start, with approving comments from the citizens who passed by on the first days.
