Bilbao’s City Hall once again goes mobile for the the town’s annual festival

Putting it’s best face on an economically complicated year, the Bilbao City Hall has decided for the 5th consecutive year offered mobile downloads to its citizens and visitors to the city to celebrate the annual summer festival, with ivista managing the entire project.

People who were interested in downloading content from the Festival to their mobiles could either enter via the Web of the City Hall or directly to the Web page designed and hosted by ivista. There they could download a Java application of the full agenda of the Festival’s events, an interactive map of locations where events were taking place, telephones of interest, etc. Also available to download was a wallpaper of the Festival’s poster and the theme song of the Festival. The campaign was in place from the 14th to 23rd of August and was designed and managed by the ivista team.
